A great red wine can be the right compendium to the pleasures we will experience while sitting at the table. So let us begin our little excursus into the world of taste, memories and scents. This wine comes from the best exposed areas of our vineyard on the rolling hills of Montepulciano, in the historic area of the appellation. Matured in French and American oak barriques for about 12 months, it is then refined in the bottle for over 45 months. The result? A powerful, structured, full-bodied, noble wine in the true sense of the word. Elegantly intense and refined, with a harmoniously persistent bouquet. The great pleasure that only great wines can give.
From Montepulciano to Montalcino the road is short. At least when it comes to absolute quality, without compromise. From Nobile di Montepulciano we move on to the pleasures of Carpineto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2015. A great wine that comes from one of the highest vineyards in the entire denomination, located at about 500 metres above sea level where one can contemplate all the marvels of the Val d'Orcia. A five-star vintage that results in a wine matured for over 42 months in oak barrels of different capacities, then refined for a long time in the bottle at a constant, controlled temperature. Here, then, we hold in our hands a goblet that reminds us - once again - of all the most intense scents and aromas of the Christmas season. Wild berries, red fruit preserves, vanilla, aromatic spices, toasted notes that we find again thanks to the long ageing in wood. Our Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2015 is a very broad, persistent, elegant, refined wine. Perfect for long evolutionary paths, but also excellent to enjoy when it is still “young” and already presents a surprising balance both to the nose and palate. The highest expression of Sangiovese Grosso, which finds its ideal environment in the Montalcino territory.
