Are you team big party or small nights gathering?

Before Covid, I used to love hosting big parties - making new friends, going crazy with celebrating special occasions, the more, the merrier. Now I prefer to have small gatherings with close friends - more quality conversations, lots of laughs and just enjoy the happy atmosphere. While large parties are still great once in a while, I just really appreciate the extra intimate connection-creating moments with the people I want to be with.

I love to host wine nights at home with my close girlfriends, it's a great way to relax and enjoy the company of each other, talking about relationships, careers, best Netflix shows, or just gossiping about all the drama in Selling Sunset. Sometimes I'd cook a nice meal or order takeout from our favorite restaurants, other times I'd put together a cheese and charcuterie board, but regardless of what food is on the table, a nice bottle of wine is mandatory. The good news is - we all love a good Chianti!

This Carpineto Chianti Classico Riserva 2017 is our recent favorite! Richly textured, excellent structure and balance, with notes of cherry, blackberry, cedar, as well as Asian spice, supplemented by harmonious floral notes. Ripe tannins, brilliant acidity, finishes with beautiful chalk minerality.
