Easter Monday is always an occasion for friends and families to spend time together. If you're looking for activities that can both please your family and your love for good wine, you've just come to the right place! Here at Carpineto we are organizing a lovely day out in our vineyards offering an unmissable tasting of our wines and a treasure hunt for kids. 

Spend your Easter Monday with us ("Pasquetta", in Italian) and you won't regret it! The event is set on Monday 10th April 2023, starting from 11.30 am. Here we will give you the chance to spend a lovely day with the people you love the most while tasting our world famous wine. The event wants to be informal and relaxing, a way to enjoy the nature that surrounds our cellar as well as its products. 

During the day it will be possible to visit the estate with its barrel cellar and the historical museum. Our lovely kids, on the other hand, can have fun together with the White Rabbit to find a tasty treasure hidden within the estate. Playing the treasure hunt will make the gift of the egg even more exciting, following the tradition of this famous festivity.

When people arrive, they will be given a goblet with a pocket, so they can be able to taste 2 of the following wines: Brut or rosè sparkling wine, white, rosè or Dogajolo Rosso, Chianti Castaldo and Rosso di Montepulciano, accompanied by Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses (finocchiona, capocollo, pecorino di Pienza), panzanella, bruschetta with our oil. This oil is cold produced from hand-picked olives from our ancient olive groves located in the upper Valdarno (Florence), on the border with Chianti Classico.

Back to our beloved wine, for this Easter Monday we specifically recommend our lovely Dogajolo Rosso I.G.T.: Produced from berry varieties such as Sangiovese and Cabernet, , this wine presents a deep garnet with violet reflections color. Its taste can be defined as full, soft on the palate, but also complex and well developed. 

Dogajolo usually lends itself especially to accompanying meat, whether it is white, red or black; it also goes well with some offal. Of course, Dogajolo Rosso also goes perfectly with pasta dishes with meat or tomato sauces. Give it a try yourself and discover the taste of our historical products which you may have never tasted in your life before. 

Around 2 pm, the treasure hunt for the children will start. Before and after the treasure hunt, we will organize vineyard and cellar tours for adults who wish to visit our beautiful landscapes. Easter Monday, in Italy, is a day of celebration that is generally spent together with relatives or friends with a traditional outing, picnic on the grass and various outdoor activities.
